Hi,
I am using Scansion 1.02 on OSX 10.5.8 to do debugging on some VCD files. When I create a New Group, the "New Group" label is created but when I double click it to rename it won't accept my key strokes. All I can do is erase the "New Group" label but not rename it.

Can you provide some more information about the system you are running on (version of OSX , intel vs ppc)? We have not seen any issues with this and can't immediately reproduce so any info you can provide would be helpful.

I am running Scansion 1.02 on an Intel Imac with OSX 10.5.8.
The VCD files are produced using iverilog.

OK, thats very strange. We'll see if we can find a system to reproduce this, but on configurations that match yours this appears to work just fine.

If there are any other users experiencing this please post your setup info.

raarce, out of curiosity, when you do the double click, where is your cursor? In trying to reproduce this condition, I noticed that if your mouse cursor is not on the text of the group name itself, (i.e. if it is just to the left or right of the text), it will not bring up the ability to edit, but if it is on the text when you double click, you get the text to show it is editable.

My system is a 2.4GHz 15.4" Macbook Pro running 10.5.7 (previous generation, not the unibody version).

I found the source of the problem. Since I write mostly in spanish I was using a US International keyboard layout. For some reason anything I typed within Scansion was not registered. I went back to the US keyboard Layout and the problem was solved.

Thanks for posting the update.

Is the "US International" layout you are referring to the 3rd party ad-on? I don't see that as a standard OSX keyboard layout, but I do recall that there was a 3rd party plugin of that name. If its a standard OSX keyboard layout, I'd like to address the issue. I tried a number of other keyboard layouts and they all work without issues.
